Building on Faith Restoration Project

What are we doing?

We are launching our Building On Faith Restoration Project. Our goal is to restore our 143-year-old historical church building. This is not only where we worship. It is whwere we live out our faith with outreach to the community. This is what we mean when we say, "Our Commitment, Our Community."

Naturally.

Our Legacy

Our legacy began with the former Calvary Presbyterian Church. From our current building at East 79th Street and Euclid Ave, Calvary for decades had ministries aimed at meeting spiritual as well as community needs. In 2013, Calvary and Glenville New Life Community Church merged to form New Life At Calvary. the legacy continues. We want our community to know that we love them and care about them.

Our Ministries

NLAC's Ministries include our food pantry and community meals, our prison ministry, and Calvary's Closet, which provides free clothing and other items. Our John Bruere Scholarship Fund has helped hundreds of students throughout Ohio over the years. We've always placed a high value on making sure young people, whether in the congregation or the community, have enriching experiences. We give free piano lessons and hold summer and spring break camps for children, either for free of for a nominal fee.
