These twenty bible studies are designed for small group discussion groups, yet they can also be used by individuals in their own personal growth. The bible studies have been designed with three specific purposes. The first purpose is to get the participants to study the word of God and learn what it actually teaches. There are so many things today that people think are in the bible, that are not there in the actual texts of Scripture. The second purpose is to apply the texts of Scriptures to the participants life so that a life transformation process can take place. The Holy Spirit can work more effectively in open hearts. The third purpose is to build positive relationships among the participants. People can learn from each other because God is at work in all of our lives but at different stages and levels.
The bible studies are arranged in a group of topics. The first group of lessons is entitled “Walking By Faith.” The lessons involve “Who Am I Going To Trust’, “What Do I Need To Let Go Of”, “Which Plan Will I Follow”, and “What Sacrifices Will I Make.” The next group of lessons is entitled “God Is Calling You.” The bible studies will take you through some of the common responses we make to the call of God on our lives. The responses are “I Don’t Want To Do It”, “I Don’t Have The Experience”, and “I Don’t Understand.” The third group of studies is “Overcoming Mistakes.” The lessons encourages us to prevent our emotions from overwhelming us in our journey through life. The topics are “Desires Out Of Control”, “Letting Go Of Pity”, and “Regrets From The Past.”

The fourth group of studies is “Called To Be Faithful.” The lessons challenge is remain true to God in a world where values are constantly changing The topics are “How To Be In The World But Not Of The World”, “Help For The Family”, “The Authority Of The Scriptures”, and “Obedience To The Holy Spirit.” The fifth group of studies is “Turning Home Into Something Better.” The lessons are geared to building healthier family relationships. The topics are “Let’s Deal With Attitudes”, and “Let’s Deal With Sharing The Load”. The sixth group of lessons is “Raising The Bar.” The lessons encourage us to set our eyes on a higher spiritual plane that what we are accustomed to living. The topics are “Let Your Yes Be Yes”, “Let Your Attitude Shine”, “Let You Work Be To God’s Glory”, and “Let Your Life Count For Something.”
